This information shows why we process your personal data and how it is done. Here is also information on how you can exercise your rights as set out in the Data Protection Regulation. How do we process your personal data ?
Customer and Counterparts

We process your contact information and other relevant information that you provide to us in connection with us preparing and performing assignments on behalf of you or your counterparty, for invoicing purposes and to fulfill our legal obligations. Contact information is name, e-mail and telephone number. In connection with this, we may also collect personal information about you from public and private registers and authorities.

The legal bases for this treatment are the fulfillment of agreements, our legitimate interest in investigating and defending legal claims as an agent and the fulfillment of legal obligations. The personal data processed for this purpose is stored as long as you are a customer with us and thereafter for a maximum of 2 years after the assignment is completed. Exceptions apply to such personal data that must be stored in accordance with law, for example the Accounting Act or must be archived, see below. We document and archive assignments in a document management system. We do this to protect ourselves and our customers from future legal claims and to fulfill legal obligations.

The legal basis for this treatment is our legitimate interest in investigating, defending and asserting legal claims and in fulfilling legal obligations. Archived documentation is saved up to 10 years after the assignment is completed.

Suppliers and partners

We process contact information about you who are the contact person / employee of one of our suppliers or business partners. We do this to maintain the relationship with the supplier or business partner, which constitutes a legitimate interest. Personal data used for this purpose is stored as long as you are the contact person for the supplier or business partner and thereafter for a maximum of 1 year after the contractual relationship has ended. Information about you that appears on the invoice is stored for as long as the legislation requires it.

Potential customers and partners

In order to contact you for marketing purposes, we sometimes collect your contact information directly from you, from someone who recommends you or from publicly available information at, for example, the Swedish Companies Registration Office in order to market our services. The legal basis for this treatment is our legitimate interest in marketing ourselves.

Who do we share your personal information with?

We may share your personal information with our subcontractors when carrying out assignments on your behalf. We may also store the information in services operated by other companies such as e-mail and conference tools as well as e-mail provider. In the event of such sharing, your personal data is always treated confidentially and protected with appropriate security measures. We have written agreements to ensure that your information is processed securely and prevent the supplier from using your information for their own purposes.

Your contact information may also be shared with a hired provider of financial services for accounting and invoicing purposes.

We may also share your personal information within the framework of an assignment, for example with an authority or a court. If you are our customer, we will always inform you of such a sharing in advance. It may also happen that your information is shared with authorities to the extent that it follows from a legal obligation.

Where do you process my personal data?

Örestads Redovisning och Konsultbyrå AB  uses Swedish and European suppliers for e-mail, video conferencing, document storage and website. Depending on which suppliers you or the company you work for use, your personal data may be transferred to a country outside the EU / EEA. Örestads Redovisning och Konsultbyrå AB does not take responsibility for which suppliers you use for your e-mail, document management or your choice of conference tools in our contacts with you. Feel free to contact us if you have special requests regarding communication in connection with us carrying out assignments on your behalf.

What rights do I have?

The Data Protection Ordinance gives you, as a registered person, a number of rights. Some of them may be limited in view of the fact that there are legal requirements for us to keep the data for a certain period of time, or that we have legitimate interests that justify the data being stored for another period.

– The right to access your information, a so-called register extract.

-A right to receive confirmation that we process information about you, and information about the treatment.

– Right to correction – you have the right to have incorrect information corrected.

-Right to delete -you have the right to have certain information deleted provided that the information is not processed so that we can exercise our right in connection with a possible dispute or legislation that requires the information to be saved, such as the Accounting Act.

– Right to object – a right to object to our treatment if it takes place on the basis of a balance of interests or for direct marketing.

– The right to limited processing – a right to demand that the processing of personal data be limited, for example if you oppose the accuracy of the data.

-Right to data portability – a right to demand that personal data be transferred from us to another personal data controller.

-Right to revoke consent – a right to revoke your consent at any time.

– The right to file a complaint – a right to file a complaint to the Privacy Protection Authority if you believe that your personal data is being processed in violation of current regulations.
